Record breaking heat wave Rain in north, west seiten=4 abk=focus

Saturday
Some mist and fog is likely across The Midlands into east and south eastern parts of England but this will burn off quite quickly this morning. Much of England and Wales will have another fine, sunny and warm day as temperatures again rise to well above normal though more cloudy around western coasts and in the north west of England. Outbreaks of light rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland will become heavier in the afternoon. Highs of 19 to 26C.

Saturday Night
That area of rain across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland lingers into the evening and the night. For England and Wales expect fine, dry evening and night with clear spells and some fog in the south and the south east by morning. Lows of 11 to 15C.

Sunday
An area of rain across southern Scotland clears Northern Ireland as it moves into northern England in the afternoon. For central and southern parts of England it is looking fine and dry with sunny spells and some occasional cloud. Still very warm in the south but a bit fresher in the far north today. Tonight that area of rain tends to fizzle out as it tracks south across Wales and central parts of England. Expect highs of 14 to 16C in the north and 21 to 25C in the south.

Monday
It becomes very windy in the north today as rain spreads into Northern Ireland, western parts of Scotland, Wales and north west England. More cloud today along with some sunnier spells for central and southern parts of England. There is a risk of rain across all but the Midlands and eastern parts of England tonight. Much of the rain looks to be quite light. Expect highs of 15 to 25C north to south.
