Wednesday
A damp and drizzle start to Wednesday morning over most of the country. More persistent rain could affect Wales and southwest England, with western coasts of England, Scotland and Wales always prone to more persistent rain. Further east conditions should be drier, although staying cloudy with some spots of drizzle in the morning. By the afternoon eastern areas should be dry, a few breaks in the cloud developing allowing an odd brighter spell to come through. Highs at 15C in southeast England, 11C in northern Scotland.
Wednesday Night
Rain affecting western parts of the country through this evening and tonight. Most of the rain will be through western Scotland, Wales and southwest England, some of it heavy at times. Further east it is going to be drier, but still rather cloudy. Lows of 6 to 10C.
Thursday
A front is going to be lying north to south through the country on Thursday. Cloud and outbreaks of drizzle affecting much of Scotland, northern and western England and Wales. More eastern parts of England will be drier, and there could be an odd break in the cloud here, allowing a brighter spell to come through. Ireland is going to be rather cloudy with a few showers in the west and south. Highs at 12 to 16C.
Friday
A windier day on Friday as a deeper area of low pressure develops southwest of Ireland. This is going to be bringing some periods of rain through Ireland, southwest England and Wales. Patchier rain for Northern Ireland and western England, but these turning more persistent through the day. More eastern areas are likely to be drier, although still rather cloudy and breezy. Highs at 10 to 15C.
