Heavy rain into SW Gales in west seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
It becomes windier across the country today, especially across Northern Ireland and western Scotland into the Irish Sea where gales will develop. Generally we expect a cloudy day across all parts of the country and this will be thick enough to give some sporadic outbreaks of patchy light rain and drizzle. Heavier rain is expected to move into Cornwall in the morning and spreads into all of south west England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Best of the sunshine will be across western Scotland today. Expect highs of 10 to 15C.

Friday Night
Through the evening that area of heavy rain moves into Scotland and into central and southern parts of England. This rain tracks north east into Scotland as it clears England tonight. A mild and windy night with gales still in the west. Mild with lows of 8 to 12C.

Saturday
Less windy today. We expect a good deal of dry, bright weather today with a mixture of cloud and a few sunny spells. A few showers to come across western Scotland and in the south east at first. Mainly dry this evening. Overnight it turns cloudy with rain and drizzle moving into the south west into the Irish Sea into Northern Ireland. Gales will also develop in the south west. Expect highs of 11 to 14C.

Sunday
Another windy day in store for the country with gales in the west. Much of the country may start cloudy with some drizzly rain across Scotland into the Irish Sea. It turns dry in the afternoon as it brightens up across the country and some sunshine comes along. Fair and dry then into the evening and night and we should keep a good deal of cloud inhibiting frost. Expect highs of 12 to 15C.
