Wednesday
An area of heavy rain across northern southern Scotland in the morning spills into southern Scotland and Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Gales will also develop in the north. Much of England and Wales will be fine and dry today with good sunny spells though the far west may see more in the way of cloud. Mild with highs of 10 to 13C.
Wednesday Night
That area of rain is expected across southern Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland in the evening then pushes back into all of Scotland in the night clearing northern England. Staying dry across the rest of England Wales. Lows of 6 to 9C.
Thursday
A very windy day with gale to severe gales developing in the west. Outbreaks of rain will affect Scotland and Northern Ireland today with some rain into Wales and south west England. A dry across most of England and Wales with some sunshine in the east. During the evening and night that rain will be spreading down into all but East Anglia and the south east of England with severe gales in the north and west as the winds gust in excess of 80mph. Expect highs of 10 to 13C.
Friday
Rain soon clears away from eastern England this morning. It becomes colder from the north today with strong winds across England and Wales. A number of showers will affect western parts of the country today with most central and eastern areas dry with varying cloud and sunnier spells. More rain sweeps into all but the south east of England tonight. Expect highs of 6 to 13C north to south.
