A windy day to come with gales across Britain. Strong winds up to 80mph hour across Scotland will moderate by afternoon but staying very windy. Any residual rain in the far south clears away this morning. For much of Britain will be feel colder with long sunny spells but there is a risk of showers across western Scotland and across northern coasts of Northern Ireland. Some showers may be wintry over the Scottish Mountains. Expect highs of 7 to 12C.

Still quite breezy this evening and tonight in the north with showers confined to western coasts of Scotland. Overnight winds drop in the south with a risk of a frost there under clear skies. Lows of 1 to 4C.

An increasingly very windy day with gales developing in the west. Outbreaks of rain will affect Scotland, Northern Ireland and western pars of England and Wales this becomes heavier this afternoon. A dry day across The Midlands, East Anglia and the south of England. This evening and tonight those gales persist with most areas seeing rain. Expect highs of 7 to 11C.

Windy with gales seeing east today. Rather wet for much of England with spells of rain. That rain clears Scotland, north west and south west England and Wales by afternoon replaced by blustery showers, these wintry across northern Scotland. Expect highs of 6 to 13C north to south. A windy, cold night with showers around western coasts, these wintry across northern Scotland. Dry and clear across most of Britain.
