Cloudy this morning with outbreaks of rain across England and Wales, this turns a bit heavier in the south east by afternoon while it clears to sunshine and showers for most other areas, though rain persists across East Anglia. A lot of cloud across Scotland and Northern Ireland with some rain into the extreme south of Scotland. Maximum temperatures of 7 to 11 Celsius.

Saturday night
Through this evening and tonight some rain may linger across northern parts of England as rain in the far south east clears. Most other areas then will have a dry night with temperatures falling to 0 to 3 Celsius leading to a frost in places.

Sunday
Rather chilly and breezy across the country today with an area of rain and showers across north east England, The Midlands, Wales and south west England this morning. In the afternoon expect scattered showers. To the north it looks drier and sunnier with showers for northern Scotland. It will be a dry night and as the winds turn light under mostly clear skies, we could see a widespread frost developing by morning. High temperatures today of 8 to 10 Celsius.

Monday
A front will bring outbreaks of rain and drizzle to Scotland and Northern Ireland today. High pressure will give England and Wales a dry, mostly sunny day though more cloudy in the west in the afternoon. A cloudy evening and night from Wales northwards into Scotland with sporadic outbreaks of rain. Dry in the south and not as cold under cloudy skies. Expect maximum temperatures in a range of 8 to 11 Celsius.
