Rather chilly and breezy across the country today with an area of rain and showers across north east England into the The Midlands and showers for Wales and south west England this morning. Lots of sunshine across Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England. In the afternoon expect a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers across England, Wales and western Scotland. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 10 Celsius.
Sunday night
Through this evening and tonight some rain may linger across the far north of Scotland and the Northern Isles. Most parts of the United Kingdom though with have a dry evening and night. With clear spells and lighter winds tonight, we expect a widespread frost to develop by morning along with a few fog patches in the south. Temperatures falling to -1 to 3 Celsius.
Monday
A front will bring outbreaks of rain and drizzle to northern Scotland with a dry day across Northern Ireland today. High pressure will give England and Wales a dry, mostly sunny day though more cloudy in the far west in the afternoon. A cloudy and wet evening and night for Scotland with heavier rain in the west. More cloud across northern England and with clear spells in the south we may see a touch of frost. High temperatures today of 8 to 11 Celsius.
Tuesday
Not too much change to come in the weather today with rain confined to western parts of Scotland into Northern Ireland. High pressure will keep England and Wales fair and dry with sunny spells. Dry across most of the country tonight with any frost to be found in the far south of England. Expect maximum temperatures in a range of 10 to 13 Celsius.
