Monday
A chilly start to the day over much of England and Wales with a few fog patches i more rural areas. These will be clearing quickly through and then for most of the area the day will be dry with good spells of sunshine. A cloudier start for Scotl;and and Ireland, with some spots of rain in the north and west. This afternoon sees more sunshine to the south, although increasing through northwest England, Ireland, western Wales and Ireland with heavy periods of rain and a stiff breeze for western Scotland. Highs at 8C in western Scotland, 14C in the sunshine over central England.
Monday Night
Skies being generally clear across souothern and central parts of England and Wales through tonight, a touch of rost with lows of 0C. Thicker cloud and increasing winds the further north you go. A warm front will be bringing some spots of rain to northwest England, but more persistent rain over Scotland (apart from the east where it stays dry) and some outbreaks of rain in Northern Ireland too. Lows eslewhere around 5C.
Tuesday
High pressure is to the south of the country on Tuesday, with a southwesterly flow affecting all parts. Outbreaks of drizzle for western Scotland and northwest Englandas well as western and northern Ireland. Sunshine over the rest of England and eastern Wales, wit the best sunshine reserved for the Midlands and East Anglia. Highs at a warm 15C in the sunshine to the south and east, 11C in Northern Ireland.
Wednesday
High pressure dominant again through Wednesday. This will bring another fine day with lots of sunshine for most of the country. Western coasts of Ireland and Scotland will see low cloud at times and the threat of a few spots of drizzle here and there. Highs near 15C in the sunshine across central England, 12C in any cloud in the west.
