Wednesday
A chilly but fine morning for Wednesday. There will be lots of sunshine through most of the country, and some mist patches too. These are going to be burning away quickly and then the morning will be fine with plenty of sunshine. A front is close to northern Scotland and this will bring one or two spots of rain here. That cloud and a few spots of rain slip into central and eastern Scotland this afternoon, but for the vast majority it stays fine. Plenty of sunshine throughout England, Wales and Ireland and feeling warm once again. Highs at 16 to 21C.
Wednesday Night
More cloud around for Wednesday night, especially in the north and east of the country. That cloud is going to be broken and there will still be clear spells. The thickest cloud over northern and eastern Scotland where there could be spots of rain. The driest and clearest skies across central, southern and western parts of England, Wales and Ireland. Lows at 1C in central areas, 5C on the coasts.
Thursday
High pressure is going to be centred to the west of Ireland again on Thursday. The more westerly flow will bring thicker cloud and some drizzle to western and northern coasts and hills of Scotland. There is a risk of some cloud drifting onto the coasts of northwest England too. Elsewhere there will be more cloud than recent days, but still some reasonable spells of sunshine. Highs at 12C in western Scotland, 19C in southern England.
Friday
The area of high pressure stays west of Ireland on Friday with a cold front drifting into northern and eastern parts of Scotland and England. The front is likely to be bringing more cloud and some spots of rain across these areas. More western and southern parts of the country should be dry with sunny spells, although cloud around too. Highs at a cool 10C in Scotland, 19C in southern England.
