Friday
High pressure will be to the west of the country through today. This brings more cloud thean recent days, with the threat of some drizzle to the north and west of Scotland. Low cloud ahnd some drizzle could affect northwestern England too. For more eastern and southern parts of the country the day is going to be a dry one, although with more cloud than recent days. There will be some spells of sunshine coming through though. Highs at 18C in southern England, 9C in northern Scotland.

Friday Night
Cloudier skies again through more northern and eastern parts of the country tonight. There is the chance of some drizzle on the high ground of Scotland, and again bits drifting down the eastern coasts of England, and perhaps affecting northern parts of Wales too. For most though the night is going to be dry. There will be clearer skies the further south you head, with lows at 4 to 6C.

Saturday
High pressure is going to be to thue west of Ireland through Saturday. A more westerly flow affects Scotland and northern England, bringing cloud and some spots of rain here. There could be a fair amount of cloud anjd some spots of drizzle across northern England and the Midlands too on Sunday morning, although it shoul;d be dry elsewhere. The afernoon sees drier weather for most, although there is the threat of an odd shower breaking out across southern parts of England. A fair amount of cloud for all too, with only brief bright or sunny spells. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 15C in southern England.

Sunday
Pressure remains high across the southern half of the UK and Ireland on Sunday. There will be lots of dry weather through more southern areas, and some good spells of sunshine here as well. Further north more cloud is expected to affect Scotland, and there is the chance of some rain here, especially in the far north. One or two showers breaking out in the afternoon across central Ireland and mid Wales. Highs at 9 to 14C.
