Turning Colder More Unsettled seiten=4 abk=focus

Saturday
A change from the fine weather we had over the last couple of weeks. Most parts of the country. Rather cloudy this morning and this will be thick enough to just give some patchy bits of rain to central and southern parts of England and Wales. It should bright up through the afternoon and most areas will be essentially dry apart from a few scattered showers in the south of England. Temperatures well down today but will be near normal with maximums of 9 to 12 Celsius.

Saturday night
A dry evening to come across Britain with cloud tending to break which will lead to a colder night of late frost expected across England and Wales by morning. More cloud though is expected across Scotland, so it should be generally frost free, except perhaps in the east. Expect minimum temperatures of -2 to 4 Celsius.

Sunday
A front will generally give some showers some patchy light rain to Scotland and Northern Ireland today. A dry day across England and Wales with sunny spells and some occasional cloud. During the evening and night that rain becomes heavier across northern Scotland. The rest of the country will remain fair and dry with variable cloud and where any lengthy cloud breaks to occur, a few pockets of frost are possible in the south. Expect top temperatures of 11 to 13 Celsius.

Monday
A cold front will bring rain to northern Scotland this morning as it turns colder later, snow, it returns to the mountains. The number of showers are expected across southern Scotland down across northern England. For Wales, central and southern parts of England, it should generally be mainly dry and bright with variable cloud. As it continues to turn colder from the north, is a risk of snow across Scotland and down into northern parts of England, especially over the hills. Look for high temperatures in a range of 10 to 13 Celsius.
