Thursday
Cloud and outbreaks of rain across the far south of England through this morning, this fading slowly into the afternoon. A windy day across the far south of England too as well as feeling cold. Across more central and northern parts of England, together with Wales the day will be drier and much brighter with good spells of sunshine. Scotland sees cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the north at first, but this slipping south into southern Scotland and Northern Ireland through this afternoon. A milder day than today at 6 to 9C.

Thursday Night
Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the south of England at first tonight. This rain will be slowly fading away as it clears southwards. Skies then become clear over most of England and Wales, leading to a widespread and severe frost. Cloudier skies over the north and west of Scotland will be bringing some showery outbreaks of rain here. Temperatures could dip to -4C in central England, nearer 3C in northern Scotland.

Good Friday
A ridge of high pressure is going to bring a fair day to southern parts of England with some good spells of sunshine after an early frost. The Midlands, East Anglia and Wales should start the day dry and bright, but cloud increasing to bring some outbreaks of rain to the north of this area in the afternoon. Periods of rain in Scotland will push south into northern England and Ireland through this afternoon as fronts head south. Temperatures rising to 13C in southern England, 9C in the north.

Saturday
High pressure stays to the west of the country on Saturday. A northerly wind affects all areas. There will be some cloud and outbreaks of rain for western Scotland, northwest England and Wales. More eastern areas should be drier with the cloud breaking here to allowing some sunny spells. Highs will be to 9 to 14C.
