Tuesday
Low pressure to the northeast of Scotland is going to bring a mixed day across all parts of the UK and Ireland. There is will persistent rain over eastern Scotland at first, some of this heavy at times. Sunny spells elsewhere, but showers will soon be developing inland. The afternoon sees further showers just about anywhere in the UK, and these could be heavy at times, especially over parts of Wales, southwest England and western Scotland. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Tuesday Night
Showers will be fading fairly quickly from England and Wales, as well as Ireland this evening. Skies are then going to be clearer and a slight frost is going to form here. Elsewhere the day is going to be a showery one once again, although there will be some good spells of sunshine for many to start the day. Heavier rain over western parts of the country, with the showers perhaps merging to longer periods of rain in eastern Ireland and western Ireland. That area of rain and heavy showers probably passing through central, southern and eastern Wales and Scotland through the afternoon, but which time the far west may become drier. Highs at 9 to 14C.

Thursday
The area of low pressure stays east of Scotland on Thursday. An occluded front remains over northern Scotland bringing cloud and rain here. Elsewhere there will be a morning frost. This clearing quickly to leave a fair amount of sunshine to start the day. However, showers are going to be developing during the morning, and these are going to become heavy in places in the afternoon; the focus for the heavier showers over parts of Wales, the Midlands and northern England. Highs at 7 to 12C.
