Wednesday
Low pressure is going to be dominating the weather through the UK and Ireland. This brings a fair amount of cloud to Scotland with some outbreaks of rain in northern and eastern Scotland. Elsewhere the morning is going to be brighter with sunny spells, although there will be a scattering of showers developing. The showers becoming heavy in the afternoon, especially over the hills of Scotland, northern England and through central and eastern England. Western coasts of England, Wales and Scotland should be drier. Showers again for Ireland, some of them heavy. Highs at 8 to 13C.
Wednesday Night
Showers are going to be fading away from most parts of the UK and Ireland during this evening and tonight. There will always be a few showers left around northern and western coasts, although these will only be isolated. Under clear skies inland temperatures will be falling quickly, down to -2C inland by the morning, but holding nearer 2C on coasts.
Thursday
Low pressure remains to the east of Scotland on Thursday. An unstable airmass covers the whole of the UK and Ireland. This will be allowing showers to form through the morning, although it is going to be a sunny start for most. The showers become heavier in the afternoon, especially over central and northern England. Northern Scotland may well have more persistent rain. Western coasts again sees the best of the sunshine. Highs at 7C in northern Scotland, a milder 14C on southern coasts of England.
Friday
The unstable northerly airflow continues to affect the whole of the UK and Ireland on Friday. It will be a cold start to the morning, wituh plenty of sunny spells. There will be some showers, most of these well scattered and mainly tending to affect the north and eastern of Scotland, as well as Norfolk. The afternoon sees further sunny spells and some heavy showers, most in the north and east. Drier again on western coasts. Highs at 8 to 9C for most , but 13C in southern England.
