Sunshine & Showers Frosty by Night seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
Quite a cold, frosty start, especially across central England and Wales. Most places start dry with sunny spells before a few showers develop across northern England and Northern Ireland. In the afternoon the showers develop more widely across much of the country with some locally heavy with hail. Expect maximum temperatures today of 9 to 14 Celsius north to south.

Friday night
Still some showers to come this evening across Wales and south west England. Elsewhere it becomes dry and clear. Most areas will have a cold, dry night with a widespread frost by morning though perhaps more cloud across the south keeping it frost free. Expect minimum temperatures of -2 to 3 Celsius.

Saturday
A cold, north east wind develops across Scotland and spreads south during the day. A number of showers are expected to develop once again this morning and continuing throughout the day, interspersed with sunnier spells. Some of these will be of snow over the high ground for Scotland and northern England. During this evening most of the shower activity will fade which will lead to a dry, clear, cold night with a frost by morning. Expect top temperatures of 7 to 11 Celsius.

Sunday
Windy across the country today. Lots of dry weather to come this morning with a few showers across eastern England. Not much change to come through the afternoon. Tonight it becomes very windy in the west with outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Dry tonight across England and Wales with a frost across central and southern England. Look for high temperatures of 7 to 10 Celsius.
