Saturday
A cold, north east wind develops across Scotland and spreads into northern England during the day. A cold start with a frost in places. Some sunshine this morning but more cloud develops with showers a number of showers are expected to develop once again this morning and continuing throughout the day, interspersed with sunnier spells. Some of these will be of snow over the high ground for Scotland and northern England. Expect maximum temperatures today of 7 to 11 Celsius north to south.

Saturday night
Still some showers to come this evening across parts of Wales and south west England. Elsewhere it becomes dry and clear. Most areas will have a cold, dry night with a widespread frost by morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 0 to -3 Celsius.

Sunday
Windy across the country today. Lots of dry weather to come this morning with sunny spells and with a few showers across eastern England. Not much change to come through the afternoon though a bit more in the way of showers will affect central and eastern parts of England. Tonight the winds fall light and all the showers will have died away by early evening. This will lead to a widespread and sharp frost tonight. Expect highs today of 8 to 10 Celsius and lows down as low as -5C across central England.

Monday
So a cold, frosty but dry and sunny start to the day. Rain spreads into Northern Ireland in the morning then into western Scotland in the afternoon with a few showers across northern England and Wales as it becomes windy in the west. Elsewhere fair and dry with sunny spells. Heavy rain then sweeps into all areas through the evening and night as the winds reach gale force. Look for high temperatures of 7 to 10 Celsius.
