Saturday
During Saturday it will become increasingly windy. In the morning expect quite a lot of cloud across England and Wales with some patchy bits of rain here and there. Sunnier across Scotland and Northern Ireland and essentially dry apart from the odd shower across Scotland. Lots of sunshine to come this morning for Northern Ireland. For the afternoon. We don't expect a great deal of change with some light rain across central and southern parts of England and into the north across northern England and western Scotland, expect a few scattered showers. Fine. Sunny afternoon to come across Northern Ireland. Expect maximum temperatures today of 8 to 11 Celsius.

Saturday night
Strong northeast winds will continue to increase with gales across the south of England by tonight. Heavy rain in the far south of England this evening pushes up into central parts of England and south Wales in the night. To the north of this, it will be dry with clear spells and a frost across Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures tonight down to 1 to -2 Celsius across Scotland and 2 to 8 Celsius for England and Wales.

Sunday
Sunday is looking wet and very windy across much of England and Wales with spells of heavy rain and gale force winds from the north east. Scotland and Northern Ireland will remain fair and dry. This evening that area of heavy rain progresses further north affecting northern England, southern Scotland and Northern Ireland, where it lingers for much of the night. To the south it turns dry. It expect maximum temperatures today of 7 to 13 Celsius and feeling colder in the wind and rain.

Monday
For much of Monday an area of rain is expected to persist across Northern Ireland, northern England and southern Scotland and some of it will be heavy. To the south of this, expect a mixture of sunnier spells and occasional showers. The rain tends to become light and patchy as it fades this evening while another area of heavier rain may move up from the channel threatening the far south of England during the night. High temperatures today of 9 to 18 Celsius.
