Continued very windy across the country today with gales in the south west slowly moderating. Outbreaks of rain will affect southwest England, Northern Ireland and northern parts of Scotland along with Wales. This rain will be heavy across Wales and southwest of England in the morning before becoming light through the afternoon. The warmer across the rest of Scotland, England and Wales and essentially dry with some good spells of sunshine. Expect top temperatures today of 11 to 16 Celsius.
Monday
During the course of the evening, further spells of rain will push up from the south into Wales and the southern half of England. The rain will be heavy and southwest and southeast of England this will be followed by a very wet night across Wales and the southern half of England. . Heavy spells of rain will affect southwest and south eastern parts of England. To the north be dry with clear spells and occasional cloud. The winds will also become quite strongly across central and southern parts of England. A mild night with minimum temperatures tonight of 6 to 10 Celsius.
Tuesday
Very windy across England and Wales this morning with gales spells of heavy rain. Winds will decrease in the far south in the afternoon as the rain becomes patchy and light to the north of this across Scotland and northern England, it should be a dry day with sunny spells but clouding over for the afternoon. Apart from some patchy light rain and the southeast of England tonight, it should be dry for most areas. Expect maximum temperatures today of 11 to 15 Celsius.
Wednesday
Most parts of the country will have a dry morning. Expect a good deal of cloud across England and Wales, sunny across Scotland this morning. Some light rain or showers are possible across Wales, parts of the Midlands and the far south of England in the afternoon. Through the evening and tonight, an area of rain is expected from Wales down through the south of England. The rest of the country will remain fair and dry with a good deal of cloud and a few clear spells. High temperatures today of 11 to 16 Celsius.
