Monday
Low pressure over southern Scandinavia brings an unstable northwest flow over the eastern half of the country. This allows some showers to develop through the day, although there will be some sunny spells too. Feeling cool in the breeze. More western parts of the country will be under the influences of a ridge of high pressure and this means that showers are unlikely and it should stay dry. An occluded front close to southwest England bringing some cloud and rain into Cornwall into the afternoon. Highs at 20C in southern England, 14C on eastern coasts.
Tuesday
A ridge of high pressure extends south through the British Isles. A frontal system over Ireland, Wales and southwest England brings cloud and rain, some of it heavy at times. For most of central and eastern England it should be dry with sunny spells. Scotland is going to be dry as well with more spells of sunshine throughout the day. Highs at 21C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.
