In the afternoon most places will see showers, these heavy with a risk of thunder across northern England and southern Scotland. High temperatures of 15 to 19 Celsius.

Monday Night
A number of heavy showers will persist across northern England and southern Scotland. Overnight this area of heavy, thundery rain tends to redevelop across northern England into the Midlands and Wales. Largely dry across the rest of the country. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 11 Celsius.

Tuesday
Mostly cloudy this morning with rain across the country though in the south it will be sunnier with showers. Most areas will again have an afternoon of mixed cloud, sunshine and showers with some heavy ones with thunder possible. Eastern parts of England may see some heavy rain into the night. High temperatures today of 15 to 19 Celsius.

Wednesday
While south west England may get by with a dry day, the bulk of the country will be very unsettled and showery. Again the showers become heavy through the afternoon, perhaps merging into longer spells of rain across northern England and southern Scotland. Through the evening most places turn dry with a dry night to follow with mist patches. High temperatures today of 15 to 18 Celsius.
