Sunday
A ridge of high pressure is going to be bringing a much brighter start to the day to most parts of England, Wales and Ireland. There will be good spells of sunshine, although cloud bubbling up here and there and bringing a few showers. Thicker cloud in Scotland with some outbreaks of rain. This afternoon sees further cloud and spots of rain over central and southern Scotland, but brighter in the north. For England and Wales there will be some showers, but these tending to fade by mid afternoon. Thicker cloud into southwest Ireland bringing some drizzle towards evening. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England.
Sunday Night
A dry start to the night for most with clear skies at first. There could be some showers affecting western coasts of Scotland and Wales as well as western England, with cloud and drizzle across Ireland. Later in the night the rain will be turning more persistent through Ireland and most of Wales and western England. The rain turning heavy at times across Ireland and western coasts and slopes. Lows at 6 to 11C.
Monday
A moist westerly flow through the UK and Ireland today. Fronts are tracking east and north. This brings lots of cloud and periods of rain, most of it through Northern Ireland and northern England, as well as southern Wales and southern England. Cloudy in most of Scotland with some outbreaks of rain in the west. The afternoon sees things staying breezy in England, Wales and Ireland with sunny spells spreading east. Further cloud and some rain in northern England and southern Scotland. Highs at 20C in central England in any sunshine, 13C in northern Scotland.
Tuesday
A warm front passing north through Ireland, Wales and England taking cloud and outbreaks of rain with it. Most of this affecting southern and western coasts as well as Ireland. Some brighter spells developing in the Midlands and northeast England. Cloud and some spots of rain for Scotland, most in the west although eastern areas may become brighter. Mist and fog patches lapping onto western and southern coasts. Highs at 22C in sunshine in the south, 14C in northern Scotland.
