Southern Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland and northern England remain cloudy and damp with heavy rain for north west England and south west Scotland this evening. The rain continues here into the night with rainfall amounts in excess of 35mm through the day and night across south west Scotland and Cumbria. Dry to the south with clear spells. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius expected.

Very warm to hot across central and southern England today. That area of rain across northern England and southern Scotland will become light and patchy as it brightens up in the afternoon. To the south expect long spells of strong sunshine. Just a few showers for northern Scotland and Northern Ireland. A dry night across the country. High temperatures today of 20 to 26 Celsius.

A hot, summer's day across England and Wales. Most places will be dry and sunny in the morning but scattered showers are expected to develop across Scotland, northern England and Wales with rain into Northern Ireland. Sunny for the rest of England. Just a few showers linger across Scotland this evening and tonight but most areas will stay dry with clear spells. High temperatures today of 20 to 27 Celsius.
