It will be dry and mostly sunny across central and southern parts of England through the day and feeling warm. Expect high temperatures of 16 to 23 Celsius.

Southern Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland and northern England remain cloudy and damp with heavy rain for north west England and south west Scotland this evening. The rain continues here into the night with rainfall amounts in excess of 35mm through the day and night across south west Scotland and Cumbria. Dry to the south with clear spells. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius expected.

Very warm to hot across central and southern England today. That area of rain across northern England and southern Scotland will become light and patchy as it brightens up in the afternoon.
