An increased risk of showers developing through today. It is going to be a cool morning with sunny spells for most. Thicker cloud affecting Northern Ireland and northwest Engand where a front will bring some outbreaks of rain. This slips south into north Wales and cenral Ireland this afternoon. For the rest of England and Wales there will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers becoming heavier this afternoon. More showers in Scotland, together with sunny spells. Breezy in southern areas. Highs at 14 ro 20C.
Sunday Night
A few showers remaining through this evening in central and eastern areas. hese will be fading away and then the night will become clear and dry for most. There is always the chance of a shower on western coasts, and some thicker cloud in western Scotland where there could be some patchy rain. Lows near a cool 5 to 9C.
Monday
Low pressure will be to the north of Scotland on Monday. The unstable air associated with the low will bring heavy showers to Scotland and parts of northern England. Further south and showers will tend to be more scattered, and there wil be sunny spells. The afternoon sees southern showers fading and the ones in the north becoming lighter. Turning dry across Ireland, Wales and southern England. Rather breezy in the southern half of the UK. Highs at 14 to 19C.
Tuesday
Low pressure to the west of Ireland is going to be pushing fronts northeast through the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. These brings lots of cloud and rain with them, the heaviest and most persistent affecting Ireland, western and southern Scotland, and the west of Wales together with northwest England. Lighter rain to the east, but with lots of low cloud on southern and western coasts. Staying drier and brighter in the far north of Scotland. Highs at 13 to 20C.
