Monday
Fairly cloudy across Scotland and northern England to start Monday morning. There could be some spots of rain here and there, especailly over higher ground. Some breaks in the cloud, especially in the east at first, so a few bright spells, and then becoming brighter in western and southern Scotland in the afternoon. A few sowers for eastern England and parts of the Midlands at first, but sunny spells too. The showers fading into the afternoon, and becoming dry. For the rest of England and Wales it will be a bright start to the morning with good spells of sunshine. However, cloud will be bringing rain to southern Ireland in the afternoon, this reaching southwest England and possibly central-southern England by evening, with high cloud streaming through the south of England and Wales. Highs at 15C in northern Scotland, 19C in southern England.
Monday Night
Damp across southern England and south Wales tonight, most of the rain being light with lots of low cloud on hills and coasts. More persistent rain in southern Ireland. For more central and northern parts of England and Wales, as well as the northern half of Ieland the night is dry with clear spells. Dry for Scotland too with long clear spells in the east, but broken cloud to the west. Lows at 5 to 12C.
Tuesday
A deep area of low pressure is expected to be to the west of Ireland on Tuesday. This is going to be pushing cloud across almost all areas, with rain becoming heavy in Ireland, Wales and western parts of England. Gales afecting western coasts and hills. Cloud and rain spreads to southern and western Scotland. Brighter skies across central and southeastern parts of England as cloud breaks in the afternoon, and becoming very warm here too. Highs at 23C in any sun in the southeast, 15C in western Scotland.
Wednesday
Low pressure is over Ireland on Wednesday. This brings an unsettled day to northern and western parts of The UK with cloud, rain and showers. Heavy showers and some sunny spells for Ireland. Becoming brighter in the west later. Heavier showers breaking out across the Midlands, southern and northeast England in the afternon. Cloudy for Scotland with rain and showers. Highs at 24C in eastern England, 19C in Northern Ireland.
