Tuesday
Cloudy skies across the southern half of England and Wales as well as Ireland on Tuesday morning. There will be some drizzle, most of it to the west, with more persistent rain in southern Wales and southern Ireland. An odd moderate bursts of rain could affect the Midlands too. More northern areas of England and Scotland start the day drier and brighter with sunny spells. In the afternoon the rain across Ireland and northwest England as well as west Wales will be heavier. Some brighter spells breaking through in central and eastern England where it will be feeling increasingly muggy. More eastern and northern parts of Scotland should be dry, although rain arriving in the west. Highs at 22C in any sunshine in the southeast, 14C in western Scotland.

Heavy spells of rain and windy conditions over Ireland and western Scotland. Gales may well affect western coasts. Wet across northwest England too. Some drizzle over northeast England with rain affecting Wales. Drizzle and low cloud affecting western coasts of England, but through more central and eastern areas it will be cloudy but muggy. Lows at 9 to 14C.
Wednesday
A large area of low pressure will be to the northwest of Ireland on Wednesday. This brings windy weather to much of the north and west of the UK. cloudy with periods of rain, some of it heavy over northern and western Scotland, with some heavy showers pushing into Wales and the west of England. More central and eastern parts of England will have some showers, although the southeast is likely to be dry and warm. Highs could reach 25C in the southeast in any sunshine, 18C on western coasts.
Thursday
Low pressure remains from north of Ireland to northern Scotland on Thursday. Windy across Ireland with rain in the north and west. Rain too in the far north of Scotland. For England and Wales the day will be much brighter with good spells of sunshine. There could be a few showers on the hills, but for many it should be dry. Highs at 23C in central and eastern England, 17C in western Scotland.
