Outbreaks of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland become light as they spill in across northern England into Norfolk in the afternoon. For Wales and southern England it will be a dry day with sunny spells. The rain may affect the far south east this evening otherwise a dry and mostly cloudy evening across the country. Overnight rain moves into north west Scotland. Not as cold tonight. Maximum temperatures of 7 to 9 Celsius.

It turns dry across Scotland this afternoon with rain across Wales perhaps into Cornwall with showers across Northern Ireland.
