Wednesday
A front brings outbreaks of rain through western Scotland and Ireland through today. Some showery outbreaks of rain arriving on western coasts of England and Wales in the afternoon. More central and eastern areas will be drier with sunny spells, and it is going to be breezy across the northern half of the UK and Ireland too. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Wednesday Night
A windy night through Scotland with periods of rain here, mostly across central and northern areas. A front moving south will bring some showery outbreaks of rain through northern England, Wales and the Midlands as well as Ireland. Drier weather follows behind the front. By the end of the night cloud will be thicker in the south with some showers here. Lows at 4 to 7C.
Thursday
Weak fronts will be over the UK through Thursday. These will be bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain, most of it across Scotland as well as the Midlands and Wales. A weak ridge of high pressure builds through Ireland bringing some sunny spells and drier weather here. Temperatures rising to around 8 to 12C.
Friday
A deep area of low pressure south of Iceland will push fronts eastwards through the UK and Ireland. This will take the most persistent rain through Ireland and Scotland. The rain then passing through northuern and western parts of England and Wales, this eventuially clearing east. More showery weather will then be folllwing from the west, together with some sunny spells. Highs at 8 to 11C.
