Tuesday
Cloud and rain across Ireland and most of Scotland. The rain could be heavy in the west, where it will be windy too. Across England and Wales it is likely to be a fairly cloudy and dull day with plenty of cloud and periods of drizzle and light rain. Fog affecting the hills and coasts of western and southern England. A few bright spells may break through if the cloud breaks oup, the highest chance of these over northern France and northeast England. Highs at a mild 11 to 13C.

Tuesday Night
Rain continues across Ireland and Scotland tonight. Lots of cloud for England and Wales with more outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most of them generally light. It will be murky too with mist or fog patches, and cloud will be settling on the hills and coasts too. Lows around 7 to 10C.

Wednesday
A warm front through Ireland and Scotland on Wednesday. This brings clioud and periods of rain with it, most over western coasts. Over most of England and Wales the day is going to start cloudy and damp with outbreaks of drizzle. Plenty of cloud cloud, fog shrouding hills and coasts. However, some drier air is expected to marrive in southern England, edging northwards, and as this arrives sunny spells will be developing in the afternoon. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Thursday
A front lying through Ireland and northern England on Thursday. The front brings periods of rain, most of it onl;y light and patchy, with mist, murk and low cloud on the hills. A misty start to the day over England and Wales with some fog patches in places. These slowly lifting to leave some sunny spells, although some areas could stay foggy throughout. Clearer skies in Scotland with the best of the sunshine here. Highs at 8 to 11C, and feeling cool where fog lingers.
