Thursday
Rain clears to sunny spells and a few showers this morning across Northern Ireland. For northern England, Scotland, Wales, The West Midlands and south west England it will be a very wet and windy day with spells of heavy rain. East Anglia, The East Midlands should be dry through the day. The winds will be very strong with gales around western coasts in the morning. Strong gusts to 60 mph are likely across central England with gusts to 70mph in the south west in the afternoon. Highs of 8 to 12 Celsius.

Thursday Night
This evening the gales and heavy rain moves into central and southern England then into East Anglia and the south east in the night but should clear by morning as the winds moderate. Dry across the rest of the country with clear spells and coastal showers in the west. Expect minimum temperatures of 2 to 5 Celsius.

Friday
Feeling fresher today. Most parts of the country will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Scattered showers will affect western parts of Scotland, England and Wales. Showers persist here into the evening and night with the rest of the country dry with clear spells but cloud moves into the south tonight. A colder night with a frost from the Midlands northward. Highs today of 6 to 10 Celsius.

Saturday
After a cold start, most parts of the United Kingdom should be dry and mostly sunny. A few showers are possible around some Irish Sea coasts and western Scotland. Outbreaks of rain move into Northern Ireland tonight and perhaps into the south east of England. Cold again with a frost possible across the rest of Britain. Maximum temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius.
