Dry across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The rain moves up into Scotland in the evening and night as it turns dry in the south. A windy day with gales across England and Wales. Highs today of 5 to 10 Celsius.

Very windy with gales across eastern England this morning. Rain across Scotland clears while rain moves Wales and northwest England. Much of the country will be fair and dry with variable cloud and sunnier spells. Heavy rain is expected across Wales, northwest England and southwest England tonight with gales developing. Maximum temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius.
