A very windy morning across England and Wales with gales and gusts up to 60 mi./h. The area of strong winds gradually push off eastern England into the North Sea during the afternoon. Heavy outbreaks of rain are expected across northern England and southern Scotland in the morning. Drier to the south with some patchy rain getting into southwest England and western Wales. As that rain in the north clears into the North Sea by afternoon, another area of heavy rain moves into Wales and southwest England. Highs of 4 to 11 Celsius.

This evening sees outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain across northern England, Wales and southwest England. Most of England and Wales will have a wet night to come with the heaviest rain affected across northern England, North Wales and perhaps south east England. Some rain to may affect eastern parts of Scotland. It becomes windy again tonight with gales possible across southern England. Expect minimum temperatures of 0 to 8C north to south.

A windy day to come across the country and this will make it feel quite cold. A wet day too across England and Wales with spells of moderate to heavy rain. Some rain for northern Scotland and this will be of snow over the hills. Apart from the odd shower a dry, mostly sunny day across Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. The rain is likely to continue across most parts of England and perhaps eastern parts of Scotland through the course of the evening and night as a very strong northerly wind develops. Highs today of 4 to 8 Celsius.

Very windy with northerly gales across the country. A cloudy morning across England and Wales with outbreaks of mainly light rain that will be gradually clearing eastward. East Anglia and the southeast should clear around mid afternoon as it turns dry or and brighter from the west with sunny spells developing. Occasional showers will affect eastern coasts of Scotland. Most parts of the country will have a windy but mainly dry night with clear spells with showers along the North Sea coasts. Maximum temperatures of 4 to 6 Celsius.
