Saturday
A cold start to the morning across the country. Cloudier through the Midlands and East Anglia with some patchy bits of rain be pushing down into southeast England in the afternoon this clears the southeast. Before the afternoon is over. Much of the country will be a dry day with long sunny spells although a few scattered showers will be found around the northern and eastern coasts of Scotland and around eastern coasts of England and western coasts of Wales. Highs today of 1 to 6 Celsius.

Saturday Night
Apart from a few scattered showers around some western and eastern coasts of Britain, the evening will be dry and clear and it becomes cold Frost will be developing this evening becoming widespread and hard during the course of the night. Expect minimum temperatures of -1 to -4C.

Sunday
Another cold and frosty start for much of Britain. Rain spreads in across south west England into southern Wales in the morning and this moves slowly in across all of Wales, Northern Ireland, Somerset and Dorset during the afternoon. Most of Scotland and central and eastern parts of England will be a dry day with good sunny spells that will turn hazy through the afternoon as high cloud increases from the west. During the evening the rain is likely to turn heavier as it spreads in across central and northern parts of England and Scotland in the evening, is likely to be preceded by snow for a time. This leads to a wet night outbreaks of rain across much of the country with snow across northern parts of Scotland. Today expect top temperatures of 1 to 5 Celsius.

Monday
Eight windy day across the country but it won't be as cold. Further spells of rain are likely across much of the country in the morning with snow across the Highlands. Most of the persistent rain is likely to have cleared by afternoon leaving just some patchy bits behind across the country with heavy showers around western coasts of Scotland, Wales and southwest England. It turns colder later in the day and for much of the country the evening and night it looks to be dry with clear spells and this wind should help keep frosts away. Maximum temperatures of 4 to 9 Celsius.
