Tuesday
A cold day with a brisk north east wind prevailing. Most parts of the country will have a dry day today. Lots more the way of sunshine to come across much of central and southern England and Wales. More cloud to come at times across northeast England and eastern Scotland in here. Just the odd snow flurries possible. Lots of dry, sunny weather as well to come across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Expect maximum temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.

Tuesday Night
This evening will be dry across much of the country with clear spells and variable cloud. Overnight it will be quite cold and will keep the breeze going across England and Wales with air Frost. Much colder across Scotland and with lighter winds, expect a day a widespread and hard frost. Expect minimum temperatures of 0 to -4C.

Wednesday
It will remain cold with a bitterly cold northeast wind. More the way of cloud across the country today, but there'll still be some sunny spells coming and going. The cloud may be thick enough to give the odd wintry showers again across northeast England and parts of Scotland. It remains rather breezy through this evening and tonight most parts of the country. Drier with an air frost. Could see some snow flurries developing across south eastern parts of England during the night. Expect high temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.

Thursday
Continued cold with that bitter northeast wind. On Thursday there is a risk of some wintry showers across eastern Scotland, north east England and southeast England during the day which could give a dusting. Otherwise most parts of the country will be fair and dry with variable cloud and sunnier spells. There still risk of a few snow flurries across the far south of England through this evening and tonight. The rest the country should be dry with variable cloud. High temperatures of 3 to 7 Celsius.
