Thursday
A windy and cold day to come across England and Wales. Rather cloudy across East Anglia, the South Midlands, southeast and southern parts of England. Occasional light snow or snow flurries possible across Essex, can, Sussex, Surrey and perhaps the far west as Hampshire. Through the afternoon much of this should fade. Elsewhere it will be mainly dry with good sunny spells and patchy amounts of cloud, although northern Scotland may see a few showers. Expect maximum temperatures of 4 to 7 Celsius but feeling much colder in that raw northeast wind.
Thursday Night
It remains windy into the evening and night with a few sleety showers near eastern parts of Scotland. Elsewhere expect clear spells and an air frost across and it will be dry evening and night as it stays windy. Expect minimum temperatures of 1 to -2C.
Friday
Continued windy and feeling cold today. Rather cloudy all day across East Anglia and the far south of England. Elsewhere it is dry with some cloud and some good sunny spells. A dry evening and night to come across the country with an air frost and a hard ground frost across Scotland, Northern Ireland and north west England. Expect high temperatures of 5 to 7 Celsius.
Saturday
Not quite as windy and not feeling quite as cold today with more in the way of sunshine expected across much of the United Kingdom. It will be dry apart from a few widely scattered showers across Scotland today. Apart from a few wintry showers across north eastern Scotland this evening and tonight, it will be dry and with the winds falling light we can expect a widespread and sharp Frost across much of Britain. High temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.
