Tuesday
A cloudy and cold day to come across much of the south of the UK. This cloud will be bringing some outbreaks of rain, mot of them fairly light, but a few moderate bursts in the east. A few showers spreading into northeast England and eastern Scotland, these tending to be more in the afternoon and turning to sleet and snow over high ground. The best of any sunny spells are likely over northwest Wales and parts of Northern Ireland as well as western Sotland. Feeling cold in the wind, especialy in the east and south. Highs at 10C along southern coasts, 7C in northern Scotland.

Tuesday Night
Cloud and some outbreaks of mainly light rain across East Anglia and southeast England tonight. Some spots of rain affecting eastern England and eastern coasts of Scotland too. Cloud and some rain over southern Ireland and the far southwest of England. Elsewhere the night should be dry with broken cloud, and the winds starting to ease too. Lows around -2C under the clearer skies in the west, 3C in the east and south.

Wednesday
A complex area of low pressure extends from southern Ireland and into the Low Countries on Wednesday. A weak front gives some outbreaks of rain over Ireland nd southwest England, as well as a few spots across southern Wales. More eastern areas will hve cloud and some spots of rain, with a chance of some snow on the hills in the east. The best sunshine for northwest England and western Scotland. A milder day in the southern half of the UK and Ireland at 9 to 11C, but still cool in the north at 6 to 9C.

Thursday
An area of low pressure over central England on Thursday. There will be cloud and some spots of rain, the most persistent of these in cenral and eastern areas. Cloud and some spots of rain for northern Scotland too. For most other areas it should be dry with sunny spells for western Scotland and Ireland as well as northwest England. Highs at 7 to 12C.
