Windy, showery Turning milder, wetter seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
Windy and showery across England and Wales today. The showers tending to turn heavy with a risk of thunder but interspersed with dry, sunnier periods as well. More persistent rain to come across Scotland and perhaps the north east of England with snow over the Grampians. Expect maximum temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.

Friday Night
The rain in the north and the showers in the south fade away by early evening. Most parts of the country will then be dry through the night. A cold night in the north and there with lighter winds, expect a frost across Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures of +5 to -2C.

Saturday
A milder day to come. It also becomes increasingly windy with gales this evening and tonight in the north and west. Most areas will have a drt morning with sunny spells but rain may reach Cornwall by the end of the morning. In the afternoon the rain sweeps north east into much of the United Kingdom, becoming heavy across Northern Ireland, Wales and the south west. It stays wet into the evening and night but overnight it looks dry across eastern and southern parts of England. A much milder night than of late with extensive low cloud and fog in the west. Expect high temperatures of 11 to 14 Celsius.

Sunday
Even windier and milder on Sunday. Severe gales may affect Scotland and north west England with gales across the rest of Britain. A cloudy morning with sporadic outbreaks of light rain across the country. Drier in the afternoon with an area of rain perhaps from north east England into the Midlands and south west England. That rain becomes very patchy as it tracks into the south east and East Anglia in the night as another area of rain comes in across Scotland and Northern Ireland. High temperatures of 12 to 18 Celsius.
