Increasingly windy across the country today. Much of the country will have a dry, bright morning with sunny spells but rain and drizzle may reach south west England and South Wales before afternoon. During the afternoon that rain and drizzle is expected to spread up across much of Britain, turning heavier across Wales and the south west. Expect maximum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.
Saturday Night
A wet and windy evening and night to come with gales in the west. The rain tends to become light and patchy across eastern England overnight with extensive fog around west coast facing hills and coasts. A very mild night with minimum temperatures of 8 to 102C.
Sunday
Even windier and much warmer on Sunday. Severe gales may affect north west Scotland with gales across the rest of Britain. A cloudy morning with an area of moderate to heavy rain across Scotland, north west England, Wales and the south west. In the afternoon with the rain becomes light across northern England, the West Midlands and south west England. That rain fizzles out a it moves into southern England tonight. Expect high temperatures of 12 to 19 Celsius.
Monday
A blustery day of sunshine and showers for much of the United Kingdom but the far south of England looks dry and sunniest. A fine, dry evening to come before rain and drizzle sweeps in across all but East Anglia and the south east in the night. High temperatures of 11 to 16 Celsius.
