Quite chilly start across the country this morning. Most parts of the fine and dry with good sunny spells. In the afternoon we could just see one or two scattered light showers across Northern Ireland, north western parts of Scotland and Wales. Otherwise much of the United Kingdom will have a fine, dry afternoon with spells. Expect maximum temperatures of 11 to 13 Celsius.
Saturday Night
During course of the evening cloud will thicken up to bring outbreaks of rain into western parts of Northern Ireland and northern Scotland with some fine sunshine in the south and the day. Overnight the rain becomes heavy across northern Scotland into southwest Scotland along with Northern Ireland. More the way of cloud across northern and western parts of England and Wales with clear skies and the southeast, we could see a touch of Frost in the countryside. Minimum temperatures of -2 to +5C.
Sunday
Sunday morning area of rain will stretch from Scotland down through Northern Ireland into western Wales with central and eastern areas of England dry and bright. In the afternoon that band of rain clears to showers across northern Scotland and Northern Ireland. As it moves into much of northern England, Wales and southwest. Cloudier but dry across central and eastern parts of England. During the evening that rain becomes light and patchy as it reaches the Midlands then fizzles out with a dry night across the country. Expect high temperatures of 9 to 13 Celsius.
Monday
Another area of rain will affect Northern Ireland and western Scotland on Monday morning and this moves in across most of Scotland reaching Cumbria, west Wales and Cornwall later in the afternoon. Central and eastern parts of England again will be fair, dry with variable cloud and sunny spells. During the evening the rain the north and west becomes very light and patchy tends to fade during the course of the night. High temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.
