Rather windy across the north today with scattered showers expected across Northern Ireland and Scotland, interspersed with dry, sunny periods. Milder across England and Wales today and here it should be essentially dry. Expect more cloud across western Wales and western parts of England with the best of the sunshine across central and eastern areas. Expect maximum temperatures of 10 to 18 Celsius.
Tuesday Night
During evening, heavy rain pushes into Northern Ireland with light rain reaching western parts of Scotland. Overnight. This rain spreads in across all of Scotland into northern England and into northern and western parts of Wales. The rest of England and Wales should remain dry. Expect a mild night with minimum temperatures of 7 to 9C.
Wednesday
East Anglia and the south of England should remain fair and dry, and here it becomes quite warm. Elsewhere it's a rather cloudy, misty morning with outbreaks of rain. In the afternoon this tends to clear Northern Ireland and Scotland, leaving sunnier spells and the odd shower. A windy day with gales in the morning across Scotland. Rain also becomes light and patchy across Wales and central England. Overnight most areas will be rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle with extensive Hill and coastal fog in the west. The far south of England and northern Scotland may remain dry. Expect high temperatures of 10 to 20 Celsius.
Thursday
It should remain dry and quite warm in the far south of England bright spells. The rest of the country to be cloudy with spells of rain and drizzle. This clears northern Scotland and Northern Ireland in the afternoon, leaving sunny spells and scattered showers as it turns colder the north. Overnight an area of rain will lie from northeast England through the Midlands and southwest England. High temperatures of 9 to 20 Celsius.
