Much cooler than recently across the south, highs at 9 to 12C.

Saturday
A ridge of high pressure building over Ireland and the UK through Saturday. There will be a few showers affecting southern and southeastern England, but most places are dry with sunny spells. Increasing cloud and soe spots of rain for northern and western Scotland later. Highs around 9 to 14C.
