Tuesday
Across northern parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland, expect a good deal of cloud with occasional showers along with some patchy rain. After a chilly start, it looks to be a fine, dry day across much of England and Wales and feeling pleasantly warm with light winds. Lots of sunshine to come today across England and Wales. Expect maximum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.

Tuesday Night
In the evening persistent rain is expected across northern Scotland and overnight this moves into Northern Ireland and south western parts of Scotland. It should be a fine evening with some late sunshine across England and Wales. This will be followed by a dry, clear and chilly night with local frost. It becomes quite windy across Scotland with gales in the north. Expect minimum temperatures of -1 to 4C.

Wednesday
Wednesday will be very windy across Scotland. It will be some sunshine across northern Britain but also a scattering of showers across Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and North Wales. The rest of England and Wales main dry and mostly sunny it will be milder still. By evening the showers will have faded all parts dry. Overnight another area of rain may move into Northern Ireland with the rest of the country dry. Expect high temperatures of 10 to 16 Celsius.

Thursday
Outbreaks of rain are expected across northern Scotland. Showers to come across Northern Ireland. A dry morning across southern Scotland, England and Wales with sunny spells but perhaps more cloud in the south today. There is a risk of a few scattered showers across Devon, Wales and northern England that these should be few and far between. A band of heavy rain will affect Scotland and Northern Ireland overnight. High temperatures of 12 to 17 Celsius.
