Sunday
Quite a dull start to the day over most of England and eastern Wales as well as central and eastern Scotland. More western areas of Wales, southwest England, western Scotland and Ireland will have sunshine to start to start the day, this lasting into the afternoon. It should become brighter through the rest of England and Scotland as cloud burns back to the east, although eastern coasts may stay dull through the day. Mainly dry but as on previous days there is a chance of scattered showers over northwest England and western Scotland. Highs at 16C in the cloud on eastern coasts, 23C in the sunshine over western coasts.
Sunday night
Low cloud drifting back westwards through Scotland and England overnight, the thickest of it in the east. Clearer spells in more western parts of the UK and eastern Ireland. Cloud and some rain could reach western Ireland later in the day. Lows near 3 to 6C.
Monday
High pressure is going to be centred close to eastern coasts on Monday. There will be cloud here, but this breaking with sunny spells coming through. Staying dry with some sunshine over Wales and western England as well as western Scotland and eastern Ireland. Breezier over western Ireland with a front here bringing rain. Highs at 16C in the east, 22C in western areas.
Tuesday
The area of high pressure remains to the east on Tuesday, but fronts and lower pressure are trying to move into western areas. These are rather weak affairs but will bring thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain in Ireland and some showers over the west and south of England, Wales and Scotland. Eastern areas should be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 19 to 22C.
