Still some heavy showers to come across Scotland this evening and tonight. The showers fade across England and Wales this evening with some late sunshine to come. Overnight north-western parts of England may see some showers while rain spreads in across south west England. Dry across the rest of the country. Minimum temperatures of 8 to 10C.

Confidence is medium in the forecast today. Outbreaks of rain may be confined mostly to Wales and south west England, perhaps light rain may extend into the south and the Midlands. A number of showers to come across northern England and Scotland. In the evening and the night the rain looks to persist across Wales and south west England with the remainder of the country dry. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 19 Celsius.

That rain in the south west and across Wales may spread into much of England and Wales and may be heavy. For Scotland and Northern Ireland expect scattered showers. The rain may linger across England and Wales into the evening and the night but again confidence is low on how far north this rain gets. Maximum temperatures of 14 to 19 Celsius.
