This may become heavy in the afternoon, especially over Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Rain lighter for southern counties of England (away from the southwest), with a few spots into the Midlands and parts of East Anglia in the afternoon, after a dry and bright start. Much drier weather for northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland with the best sunshine in the west. A scattering of showers on high ground. Highs at 13 to 17C.

Sunday night
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in southern Ireland, Wales and sourthwest England throughout tonight. A few spots of rain in the Midlands and parts of southern England. Northern England and Scotland as well as partys of Northern Ireland should be dry with some clear spells. Lows near 4 to 9C.

Monday

The rain will be more persistent in western areas.
