Wednesday
A very warm day for southern and eastern England. There will be broken cloud, but some sunny spells too. Thundery showers could develop over southern and southeast England as well as the eastern Midlands. Fewer showers to the west, just one or two over Wales and southwest England. Drier weather for northern England and southern and eastern Scotland as well as Ireland. Sunny spells here. A few showers forming over western Scotland and Ireland. Highs around 15 to 20C over many northern and western areas, but as high as 29C in southeast England.

Wednesday night
Indications of more persist bursts of thundery rain spreading northwards through southern and central; England and Wales overnight. Much of northern Englajnd and northern Wales should be dry with some clear spells. Cloud and some rain in western Scotland and Ireland, but dry over eastern Ireland and the east of Scotland. Lows of 6 to 14C.

Thursday
An area of thundery rain pushes northwards through much of England and Wales, most of it affecting southwest England, Wales, the western Midlands and northern England. Lighter and more patchy rain to the south of this zone, some sunny spells forming too. Cloud and some rain in western Scotland, but drier to the east and south. More rain in western Ireland, most of this fairly light. Highs at 15 to 22C.

Friday
A complex area of low pressure lies across the country through Friday. This brings cloud and some rain, associated with an occluded front over much of England. This should be clearing east with some sunny spells forming for many, although staying cloudy and damp across southern and eastern Scotland. More persistent rain pushing rain into southern Ierland and southwest England by evening, the winds increasing here too later. Tops at 14 to 21C.
