Saturday
Low pressure to the west of Scotland at midday on Saturday. Fronts surround the low blowing bands of rain and showers eastwards through the country. Most showers are likely over western areas of England, Wales and Ireland, with some more persistent rain in Scotland and the far south of England. A windy day with the winds to gale force over exposed parts of England, Wales and Ireland. Highs at 13 to 16C.

Saturday night
Cloud and some rain affecting the far south and southwest of England as well as western and southern Ireland. There will be showers over northern and western areas, but isolated showers further east, although just about anywhere could catch a heavy one. Lows will be around 8 to 12C.

Sunday
Low pressure will be to the east of Scotland on Sunday. Cloud and rain for western parts of Scotland, eastern Ireland, Wales and northwest England. Showers or longer periods of rain to the east. Some showers merging to persistent rain at times in the Midlands, with showers too in southern England. Windy through southern and western parts, but becoming drier and brighter here through the afternoon. Highs at 10 to 18C.

Monday
Low pressure stays to the east of the country through Monday. The flow stays brisk and from the northwest, bringing some showers or longer periods of rain at first, to the east of England and Scotland. Brighter for most with only an odd shower on coasts and some good spells of sunshine developing. The best sunshine in western and southern areas. Highs around 11 to 18C.
