Wednesday
A rather cloudy start to the morning over much of northern Engand and Scotland. Some spots of rain on hills exposed to the west. Brighter spells in more eastern areas, and as any rain fades so the sunny spells will becomem stronger. Dry in the afternoon although still lots of cloud in western areas. For southern England, Wales and Ireland it should be a dry day with moprning cluod. This breaking and some bright spells forming, especially to the east of high ground. Some thciker cloud may bring some rain into western Ireland later. Tops at 15 to 20C.

Wednesday night
Cloud and drizzle affecting Ireland and western parts of Wales, northwest England and western Scotland overnight. More inland and eastern areas will be dry with some broken cloud, although the cloud increasing here. Low cloud and some drizzle slipping along southern coasts of England too. Lows at 9 to 14C.

Thursday
Low pressure northwest of Scotland pushes fronts eastwards through the country. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the morning, most of them light and tendiong to fade as they reach more eastern areas. Drier and brighter weather follows to the west, although there will be scattered showers on coasts and hills. Heavier showers across northwest Scotland where it will be windy too. Highs at 23C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.

Friday
An area of high pressure will build from the south on Friday. Western and southern coasts and hills may have some low cluod and mist, but this should break as the day progresses. Any clud inland wil break quickly and then all places become dry with good spells of sunshine. Drizzle and cloud for northern and western Scotland as well as northwest Ireland. Highs at 25C in the sunshine in southern England, 17C in western Scotland.
