Thursday
Plenty of cloud to start the morning across the whole of the UK and Ireland. A front is passing east, weakening all the time, although it may just about manage to produce some spots of very light rain over the Pennines and Wales. Some showers in western Scotland too, with a few brighter spells on eastern coasts of Scotland and England. The afternoon sees further cloud, but most should be dry, just a few showers persisting in western Scotland. The best of the bright and sunny spells in more eastern and southern areas. Highs at 16 to 23C.

Thursday night
A dry night for most, althogh there will still be a fair amount of cluod. There will be some breaks here and there, especially in ceral and eastern areas. Some thicker cloud will be blown into western Scotland on the stiff west breeze, producing a few spots of rain here. Lows at 9 to 13C.

Friday
High pressure will be building through the south of the UK and Ireland on Friday. This is going to be bringing a dry day to most areas with some good spells of sunshine. becoming very warm too. Western Scotland and western Ireland will have further cloud with the chance of a shower on hills. Tops at 19 to 25C.

Saturday
High perssure remains dominant through Saturday, this centred over the south of Ireland and the UK. Plenty of warm sunshine to come for most throughout the day. A cold front will be pushing through western Scotland and northern Ireland bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain here, but the east and south of Scotland stay dry. Highs at 20 to 28C.
