Little change in conditions through the course of today. It is going to be laregly fine, warm and sunny across much of the country. Bit sof cloud may affect western and eastern coasts at times, but most places will be sunny throughout. Thicker cloud in northwest Scotland may give some drizzle here. Highs around 31C in southern England, 20C in northern Scotland.

Tuesday night
Dry with clear skies over most area tonight. There could be a few mist patches by morning through more central and eastern areas. Cloud in northern Scotland giving a few spots of rain here, and a brisker west to southwest wind here too. Lows at a warm 16C in the south, 10C in more northern areas.

Wednesday
High pressure is in control of conditions again through Wednesday. This will bring lots of fine and dry weather across much of England, Wales and southern Ireland. It will be hot too, although this heat triggering some isolated heavy showers in the afternoon. More cloud affecting Scotland and Northern Ireland with the risk of some showery rain in places, most in the west of Scotland. Highs near 18C in northern Scotland, 32C in southern England.

Thursday
Pressure stays high on Thursday. The area of high pressure will be to the south of Ireland, affecting most places. This brings another hot day with plenty of sunshine for many. A front in northern Scotland allows more cloud here with some outbreaks of rain in the far north. Tops near 31C in southern England, 20C in northern Scotland.
