Monday
A very warm to hot and humid day to come across the country. As te heat builds there is a risk of some heavy, thundery showers developing across England and Wales through the day with some places missing them, while others see some possible torrential downpours. Rather cloudy across eastern Scotland but dry with the best of the sunshine in the west and across Northern Ireland. Maximum temperatures of 23 to 32 Celsius.
Monday Night
For the evening still the risk of some heavy showers and thunderstorms across northern England and down across the far south. Overnight we could see a heavy pulse of thundery rain spreading up into central and southern parts of England and Wales with showers also across Northern Ireland and Scotland. A muggy, warm night to come with minimum temperatures of 13 to 19C.
Tuesday
It remains hot and humid today. While there will be some sunshine, frequent heavy showers with a risk of thunder will develop quite widely across much of the country. The showers persist well into the evening. Overnight it turns dry, misty and murky with the showers across northern Scotland and north east England. Maximum temperatures of 24 to 30 Celsius.
Wednesday
Not quite as hot today and while there will be scattered showers developing, they may not be as heavy or widespread with some places missing the, the showers look heavy across Northern Ireland with rain and showers across northern Scotland. The showers fade early this evening with most parts of the country to have a dry night with a good deal of low cloud and mistiness. Maximum temperatures of 22 to 25 Celsius.
